Give info on GP1 and GP2!!! It will be interesting to see your opinions on the different styles and performance...if they were different.

my 1st one was a 1995 se 2dr 3.1l i got for my 16th birthday with 57000 miles on her it was my baby for 13 years. i did the intake gaskets 3 times while i had her. common issue 3.1. had 197000 miles when i sold it it was just not reliable enough any more in sub zero temps. other than minor wear itms i did nothing majior to that car that why i got another one grand prix's are great... the new to me gp is a 2001 gt 2dr with 200550 miles on it and 20000 on the trans. the only reason i got it with that many miles on it is cause well its got a 3.8 and it was in my price range. i prefer the 2001 body style but i cant complain one bit about the 1995 it was a great car. i will get another one one i get rid of this one.

So Gen5 to Gen6. I prefer the Gen5's, so do a lot of people. Others most definitely prefer the Gen6. My 96 3.4 has 170,000 on it, but only 300-400 miles on the tranny.
