Howdy all! Just bought a 05 GTP yesterday and found this forum. What should I have checked out by the dealership? Anything specific?
P.s. I already read about the leaky satnav antenna.

You shouldn't have anything checked out by a dealership. Do it yourself and save money.
I had some of that develop really quickly with the cheap coolant.
G-05 is my suggestion for a premium coolant.
Instant protection unlike dexcool. That's right, Dexcool doesn't do anything for a while. Have to let it "steep" or "ferment".
Great news: Ford and Chrysler are now using Dexcool as well.
OP: Check out the condition of the struts, control arm bushings, rear trailing arms if they're the U channel design. Consider new tires, at the very least, an alignment.
Also consider all new fluids all around: Brakes, coolant, power steering, engine oil, transmission.
heres something interesting. Put some green anti freeze out of your car in a glass insert a volt meter and read the voltage .Green will build a electrical charge will eat up a radiator quick use red if you can find it.
G-05 is a premium long life coolant. Uses silicates. Asians like phosphates. Euro, silicates. American, acid. Each have their pros and cons though. Conventional isn't as great in some categories as the long life stuff either.
Prestone Long Life is green, and it's dexcool.
Also, welcome to the forums!
How high is the mileage on your 2005?
These transmissions aren't the best, check that the fluid isn't brown/dark and doesn't smell like burnt clutch-packs.
Supercharger oil, you can check via the hex bolt on the snout.
Power steering rack boots, hope they're dry and not leaking.
Also there is a cowl piece that needs replacing to avoid water drainage on your passenger floorboard...you can check the cabin A/C filter while you're at it.
109k miles, always been garaged according to original owner, left it outside yesterday during a terrible rainstorm and now the passenger side floorboard is soaked. Found the thread regarding the updated piece (water in floorboard take two) stuffed newspapers under the carpet and on top to soak it up. Will order the updated part 15794785 Monday.

Fixed the water problem, fix was easier then the previous thread I posted, didn't have to cut around the air vents. Not sure how to check the supercharger oil?
