    Hi from ttrech,
I had 1 of those 3.8 oil/engine fires. I repaired it by buying a used engine @ the bone yard and replaced the engine wiring harness and other parts destroyed in the fire. Now I am getting the SES light and will not pass the MA. state emissions test, throwing OBD II codes PO102 MAF sensor flow circuit low input,I have tried 2 different used sensor with the same results so I thought the ECU could b bad so I got a used 1 and installed it with the same results. does anyone have any ideas about what else I should do to track down this problem and get it resolved.
    Any help would b appreciated.
    Thanxs ttrech

check the wires to the maf. look for cracks in the insulation, or missing insulation. bad wires throw the low voltage code as well.

some how im sure you used a used harness, so theres the chance its got some damage.

That free recall would have been way cheaper. :-)

Is the MAF screen still intact? Some cars will throw a code when they are removed.

The screen is there to straighten out the air before it hits the MAF sensor.
