Did the manly man at ZZP say anything about the $4,000 tranmission you will also need to run a turbo car?
Because that stock trans will last maybe a few good runs with a happy foot, then boom goes the input shaft.

You sir are a vendors dream customer. Tells you whatever you want and you automatically believe every little bit of it. Ill sell you the pair of socks I have on right now and I guarantee they"ll add 1000hp instantly and no need to worry about your trans.
He did tell that I would need a new trans after awhile if this is a daily driver or I do a lot of racing, but its neither I take it out once a week and race it maybe 3 times a year. I am going to get the headers, cams, rockers, and the pulley system, plugs, and pcm done all at once. I might next year go with a turbo and upgraded trans. If I could do the work I would but I have no place to work on a car or the right tools. I did all the inside and exterior mods but that **** is easy.
Headers would be worth it if you nut up and install them yourself but you don't want to but you think a turbo build is going to be easier....you'll be in for a shocker.
Yeah what he said. The trans on these cars go out in the 3100 powered SEs. You think a 300+ hp turbo car is not going to kill the trans? If you want to go turbo you best have at least $5k sitting around for a built trans plus all the turbo stuff, plus anything else that will probably need to be replaced.
anyone that tells you that you need headers to run smaller supercharger pulleys has never even attempted to without headers and is just regurgitating information they read once upon a time.
A tune should be needed all the time...pulley size and flow mods don't dictate that.
Stock exhaust + E85.
Just don't need that U-Bend.
Blah.
Front manifold blows.
If it was tubular like the rear, then I'd agree...like the concept car.
I see your welds...
And raise you the lazy.

Pretty damn close for a garage special.
Works worlds better than a stock or PEM would.
Then just get a front header...and weld it to the crossover?
remake everything exactly to the spec of the stock manifolds/crossover and then make the piping diameter a little bigger and make them tubular.
i bet it'd take someone who does exhaust a few hours to reproduce it nicely.
But the crossover and rear manifold don't pose any real restriction, right?
So, just need something for the front. I don't see anything really being THAT much better than an SSPLOG + 3" Downpipe.
