I ask because I'm wanting to know information regarding the Gen V because that's what my vehicle has, and I would like to know what's the difference.

Gen v is more efficient. Rotor coating is better.
Blowers on the 3.8?
Well the Series 1 got an Gen ? M62 aka 62 cubic inches of air per revolution that was uncoated rotors and not much more than a glorifed heat pump in 1992. In 1994 it was upgraded to a Gen 3 M62 with coating on the rotors. Both these blowers had a thermal dissipation coating on the outside of them. In 1996 the Gen 3 M90 was available had a vacuum tree by the TB and thermal coating on the blower. In 1997 the vaccum tree stayed, thermal coating was only on the snout not the body of the blower, in 1998 the vacuum tree went away and thermal coating stayed on snout only. Starting in 2004 the Gen V M90 was used and had a better coating, more efficient design and no coating on any of the blower externally.
