front or rear? just dont plan on autocrossing it and you will be fine
youll be just fine with it off in the meantime. replace it with a dorman sway, it's solid metal vs the hollow ones that come stock. Dorman 927-100
dorman front and gmpp rear sway best available
Also do sway bar support the axle
nope you dont actually need sway bars
Its the front sway....
Thanks Brandon
Thanks
Thanks....and I will....
Also do you know the price range
leave it in there broken till you buy a new one, then swap it. if its making noise take the end link off and remove the broken loop on the bar if its not already broken off.
it helps some to lower the rear sub frame 2 inches or so to clear the brake lines on the driver side where the cap bolts are.
Front
i paid 63 shipped on ebay for my dorman
dorman bars run 100 ish, depends on where you buy it. also get some polly bushing for the mounts, the dorman kit comes with new bushings but they really do suck, mine are year old and they need to be replaced, both sides are torn up and clunking. the end links seem to hold up ok so far.
One end broke off on driver side and the other end screw broke and now making grinding noise
idk where to find poly bushing big enough for the dorman sway
Can Dorman be found on internet or any auto parts store
Its rattling very bad since passenger side broke
