The key works to open the trunk the problem is the yellow button in the glove compartment doesn't work neither does the button on the remote car starter and I can't locate the proper fuse. Remote starter, starts the car turns it off, unlocks the doors n locks them just won't open the truck thanks for reading my problem... Ideas anyone??

the trunk lock actuator probably took a dump on ya.

its near the lock, on the deck lid, you can unplug it and test it for power as you work the fob to open the trunk, if you have power, then the actuator is bad.

Haha new that was a dumb question but I had to ask . Laughing at myself right now. Checked the actuator and there was no power so I checked fuses and there it was b/u lamp #27 fuse blew also the stereo fuse went at the same time. Got em fixed tho had to pull 10amp fuses from my neighbours car haha.... (he knew about it). PROBLEM SOLVED.
