I have a feeling that this is the beginning of many interesting problems you will find with this car...

When I bought mine, I found a few problems that I had to fix and of course it cost money but if you don't want to be making payments for years and all you can afford is a cheap car you have to do your best to fix it. I fixed mine and now years later new problems start to show but its ok. I don't complain, it could be worse like engine and/or transmission problems

Like when the drug dogs start barking at it. There's probably cocaine residue in there somewhere. I recommend avoiding places like border crossings and airports.

Is the wiring for the button still there? If it is, replacing the button shouldn't be too hard. I'd e-mail Ed Morad; he should be able to get you a new one fairly cheaply.

Well if you can't fix it now because don't have the money to do it, just use the key to open the trunk, it won't kill you sometimes we have to do extra work because we can't afford to fix things to make it easier

dude that would be awesome if the spare tire had kilos of coke or bud in it... to the OP ill buy ur spare tire if it looks to be tampered with
i saw on the news, somewhere dude would fill up his car on E and it never took much to fill it... took it to a mechanic and had a alotta weed in the tank.

2000 grand prix se for sale.... no trunk button ... 2600 FIRM book 4400

112k engine totally rebuilt meaning new plugs, wires, hoses, alternator, belts, radiator cap, head rebuilt, new tires, new brakes, pretty sure rebuilt tranny ..freash silver paint ! I put in a nice pioneer deck with remote! No leaks (truthfully)

    the bad:
    1. Has low coolant light comes off and on but i took the light out..so now the car is fine..lol

rear passenger door window goes down when suppose to go up ..lol ..

rear defrost does not work but the light does come on! you can pretend it works!

engine oil only slightly mixed with water..will change oil and add lucas so you dont you only hear the valves knock when it gets slightly hot but never goes above 200..
might need new water jackets on the block but hey if you have silcone and you should be fine! (i mean thats what i am pretty sure what i got now)

drivers seat kinda rocks forward when you hit a stop light hard...its like GTA

missing the cup holder in the center console but you can fit a rather large handgun down there and a SOBE.

windshield has small crack... 3-4 feet. but should pass safety

doors don't automatically unlock when you put car into park... but the bright side you wont get car jacked immediately and you can keep your unwilling passengers in.

you dont have to worry about the smell of the outside air ...have a filter that gives you the sweet smell of antifreeze

removed spare tire for weight reduction helps with transport of questionable goods and so you can street race toyota PRUIS"S and win even if they do have a stuck gas pedal!

this car is fast with the 3.1 liter engine will take you all the way to the scene of the crash. lol...
