    When I removed this pulley, I used a Craftsman deep socket

    I use the silver deep six point laser engraved (return when the engraving wears off) 13mm Sears craftsman. I love Snap On, but my local Sears is a mile away when tragedy strikes.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    I have a lot of craftsman sockets, the 13mm craftsman wont work, i tried i,t but its not a deep socket though. so maybe thats the problem.

    just went out and checked mine. a 13mm deep socket (kobalt) fits mine perfectly. have you tried gettin your fingers in there and seeing if it moves. maybe the threads are stripped inside...
