Oh goodness...I ran a 4t60 top swapped without issue for many miles. It's all in how the trans was taken care of. Guy asking silly header question, do not listen to the 4t60/4t65 BS. Run what you got til you grenade it. /END

Since were on the subject of transmissions ill try here before making a new thread. When I make a hard left turn my transmission will act as if I shifted into neutral. And when I start going straight it will act normal again. If I give it gas in the turn the engine rpms will shoot up and when the car straightens out it will take off (like dumping the clutch in a manual car) Some people have told me this is a sign of a failing diff. Is that right?

is the fluid low? cause low fluid will also do that.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

That's the first thing I checked. I'm pretty mechanically inclined. But automatic transmissions scare the hell out of me.
