I've had my 1998 GP Gt for 4 months now. We have had are ups, bu also many downs. Tured out the guy that sold me the car got the enigne barley running. Anyway a week after i bought it the engine took a #2. Got a new one (2005 3800 V6). Should have got a supercharged one though and i am kicking myslelf for it. Anyway so my questions are:
Once i get a supercharger and all the things i need for it installed, what are the cheepest things to upgrade after that? Is it worth to even supercharge and make fast? Is it worth to get the rust and everything fixed to make it look nice?

    Please let me know, Thanks

So far i have done a little bit from what you have listed. Mostly only ignition. Such as spark plugs, coil pack and all new wires and battery.

If you want lots of power you might as well just save up for a turbo kit :-) and when you're done with that you'll probably be able to hang with with mustang's. Heck I'd say probably even killing em to.

you have t o do a lot more with a turbo that just a top end swap. Things such as a tranny and a lot more hoses and tubes. The top end swap is probably going to be the easiest.

    Hoses and Tubes?

    LOL.

Also, for the record. As long as you don't have a '97 N/A car....the transmission is virtually the same with better gearing.

I can't tell if you're just truly an asshole or if your sarcasm just really sucks. I'm pretty sure I've heard of a couple people in this forum that have beaten mustangs even with a lightly modded gtp. But then again maybe I'm wrong.

Your general v8 stang, I can't stand people with mustangs they think just cause it's a mustang it's automatically cool and fast. But then again I'm the type of person that hates mustangs with a passion.

I dont care much for mustangs either.. BUT even the v8s are NOT that fast... (not counting the new ones)
GTP = Mustang GT with the 4.6 2v (again not counting the new ones.I am talking like the late 90's early 2000's)

It use to be oh you've got a mustang you must have a lot of money. And it also use to be oh you have a Corvette you must have a really good job. But truth is they're so common nowadays I don't think there anything special anymore. The more uncommon the better I like seeing a Viper, a GTO (newer ones), and the occasional Lamborghini. Those are the only ones that really grab my attention. Not to mention you never see anybody with a tricked out corvette very often, mostly just old guys. They just all look the same nothing special.

city mpgs will always suck, 16-20, but straight freeway of 28-31 is pretty good for a big car. and a avg of mid 20's is pretty good.

And no there is no swap to a 5 speed auto or 6 speed.
