Ya the series 1 3800's are not worth putting in any car but a series 1 car. Don't downgrade.

    Welcome

MSD coils on these cars are junk. It may work now but will fail on you later. Get yourself some stock coils to replace the MSD's and carry them in your trunk. It will happen! Don't downgrade to your grandmothers SSEI motor from 1994. It's not the same motor. READ READ READ! You're 15 you don't know everything! Listen to us guys and gals that have had these cars for sometime and who have wrenched on them. I personally have had mine since 2005. I know a few things about them

I hate you tho, love the Blue Coupe GTPs... my first car was a 1979 Mustang (turned 16 in 01) granted I miss the car now, but it was old and worn and needed alot of TLC.

X9000 on the MSD's. They do make more spark on the lower end, but they have a failure rate on the upper end and at 5k rpms is not where you want to start mis-firing. You feel like it made a difference, that would be the wires and/or plugs if you put new sparkles in too. The coils don't make enough difference new to affect the "butt dyno". Factory coils are used on cars with well over 400whp so they are good enough for any mods you plan to throw at the car. Put the old ones back on, or buy new if they were actually bad... and paint the coils if you want them to match a theme you have planned. But for the sake of your car, don't torture the motor with those coils.

And one more thing... MOAR PIX!!!
