Welcome to the forums!! What kind of honda does he have ? First mod you should get is a cold air intake. Oh btw can i have a hot fudge sunday pleeease ?? ;-)
Yes welcome and good luck with any mods you make, I am sorta new here and have a auto 97 SE also, pretty fast as is, w/no mods, but yea thats the road I am going to take is get the cold air intake and then go from there. Good luck lady.
welcome to GPF
Welcome!
Start asking him question about his car and he'll spill the beans on everything he's got under the hood, he won't be able to stop - its in our nature.
Do you only want to go faster than him or is there some target time/speed your looking for. The reason why I ask is because as soon as you beat him he'll be at the parts store to make his faster!
If he has a stock 92, you should still beat him.
Welcome to the forum!!!!
Stock GT Rustangs are not "fast" to me. They all think they are and usually are all crap talkers. Just my opinion. Its how you drive it
uhhh Vanilla... WITH SPRINKLES!!!!
I agree with GTPluv. My first mods to the Talon were a Megan Racing downpipe, Thermal exhaust, ACT Flywheel, ACT Clutch, and en Extreme Technologies MBC. I would wax GT's all day long considering they aren't rare. Haven't raced one in the Daytona yet, but other than weight to power ratio, fwd vs rwd, etc... I don't see why I wouldn't stay with a stock one.
Start with the intake, you can make your own for $50. Use the search tool and you will find what you're looking for. Suscribe to threads that interest you so you can get back to them easier.
As for the exhaust I don't know how the one is on your car but for the GTPs the exhaust is pretty adequate as is... for now at least. Put some mufflers on it to make it sound better, chrome tips to make it look better, and don't forget to check out some exhaust clips to get an idea of what you would want.
I don't know how much it interests you but another guy on the forum, and myself are probably going to be converting our W-Bodies to run on ethanol. Maybe even more guys! E85 to be exact.
Point is you'll find all kinds of info here like that. A lot of neat things you can do to these cars!
Welcome to the site and enjoy! I haven't met a single person on here that was overly obnoxious or had a problem with helping everyone out!
