    hi i hope im posting properly, im new, hi, 97 gtp, tranny whines and slips sometimes and then other times it will work like new, just bought it yesterday knowing there was trouble, is there some thing i should check , its not making any sense, oil smells a little . and a little off color, but why will it act good and then go south on me ?

    if you go to the home page and scroll down you should find a section for your transmission. if you post your problems in there youll have better luck getting responses.

    i would also like to know if a tranny from a 2000 gt will hold up and bolt on?? its the 4t65e and mine is the 4t65e-hd, there is a guy has one with 95000 miles, for 700.00 OBO?
