hey all.. i have a 2004 grand prix with approx 100k miles or so. i have developed a squeak/chriping noise in the front driver side wheel well. it only happens while the car is in motion and it seems to happen only at slower speeds like 10-15 mph and goes away when going faster. also, it does not happen when the car is going staright and only when the wheel is turned. the squeak is not consistant and squeaks as the wheel rotates like something is stuck at a certain point on like the rotor or something and makes it squeak then(squeaks more or less depending on wheel rotation). i did the 12 and 6 oclock test for the wheel bearing, doesn't seem to be the wheel bearing. it's a metal to metal type squeaking when the tire rotates. brand new brakes too! any suggestions???? i really want to narrow it down!
