    Hello!

I am 17 and got my first car - a 99 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP.

I am down a long line of auto mechanics being one brother a CNC machinist, other a Mobile Diesel Mechanic, father, both grandfathers owning shops, etc etc.

I figured I'd go along with it!

I have already done quite a few things to my GTP, and looking for more things to do!

Figured I'd pop in and say hellooooo!

So far, I have added the K&N CAI, changed headlights, tail lights, badges, self-painted dog bones and strut mounts (proud of them actually), Dynomax Exhaust, new rims, I believe it is lowered and was when I bought it, but not 100% sure. I have S/C oil and a 3.4" pulley waiting in my room. I also have a lot done to the interior including 2 - 12" Pioneer subs with an aftermarket Pioneer single din deck and the stock Bose system.

I think that is it. I cannot really think of anything else!

Sure do! I can't wait to get rid of the U-Bend, and change the downpipe and resonator as well. I like to change it up.

Welcome, and +1 HEADERS ARE REQUIRED FOR 3.4" pulley or else u will have a KR nightmare and possibly jack up your engine, also if u end up getting headers, a tuned pcm will help a LOT, u can get them from 3800Performance.com, ZZP.com, Intense, Overkill (these seem to be the most popular) unless u got HP Tuners of course, I have the DHP one from 3800performence.com and love it, I have heard stories of ZZP PCMs blowing up people's cars and then there's the overkill vs intense "fanboy battle" on the forums lol

Mods: Pacesetter headers, 3.4" S/C pulley, 180ยบ t-stat, K&N FIPK Intake kit, Cross drilled rotors, 18" rims, DHP PCM, Custom exhaust (Cherry Bomb glasspack acting as resonator, 2X Corsa sport mufflers from my old 06 GTO R.I.P.)

Hmmm. This sounds quite interesting to me. No one said headers were imperative for the 3.4, they said the CAI, plugs, etc the regular shakedown. Are these the ones you were specifying? And what does it include, from the engine to the downpipe and that is it, or does this thing include the downpipe, U-Bend, etc? I can't really tell, words and picture doesn't match!

    1997 1998 1999 GRAND PRIX V6 3.8L PERFORMANCE HEADERS - eBay (item 180490870365 end time Jan-31-11 16:41:33 PST)

    I really appreciate it,
    Austin
