    Hello everyone,

My name is Craig and I'm in Appleton, WI. Just got my 04 Grand Prix GTP a few weeks ago. It was completely stock with about 50k on the odo. I used to own a supercharged 350z, which I sold last summer to realize my dream of owning a Dodge Viper in the next year or two.

I bought this with the intention of being my reliable daily driver, but of course the mod bug didn't stay away long. I'm a metal fabricator by trade, so I fabbed up my own cold air intake, and a 3" down-pipe with a high flow cat and resonator delete.

I've been lurking on here for a while, so I've been doing some reading on safely upping the performance. Next on the mod list is colder plugs and possibly a custom P-Log, if I'm seeing any knock by then. After that I will be ordering a new ECU along with a 3.6" Pulley, which should hopefully keep me happy for a while

    Anyways, on to some pics...

    The day I got her:

I'm heading out to wash, clay bar, and wax her now. I will post up more pics of the mods after that.

I'm contemplating whether to get new wheels (18" at most, would really like GP GXP wheels, or similar style, or possibly Rota Torque or P45 style) or if I should just have the OEM GTP wheels powdercoated a lighter gun-metal color?

Welcome. I dig the color, it was what I was looking for before I ended up going with what I have now.

Thanks guys. I actually wasn't looking for one at all haha, I was looking at a GTO, and a Ford Lightning, when this kind of fell into my lap at a great price that I couldn't turn down. But now that I have it, I love it! These are very fun cars.

Good call on the tint! Definitely will be doing that.

Heres some pics of the Intake and exhaust:

    And after a good detail:

Also on my list of needs is new exhaust tips. I HATE the stock ones, I would really like dual-dual tips (GXP style), but the darn things are like $50 EACH.

you should replace the scrunched up intake tubing as that i the most restrictive part of the intake, and how does the car sound without the ressy?

Oh wow, thank you for the tip. I wasn't aware of that, and I will replace that section this week

    Thanks!

It actually doesn't sound bad without the resonator. I typically HATE how these cars sound haha, but it's only a little bit louder than stock, and only buzzy/raspy when I rev it in neutral. WOT sounds mean.
