before you put money into a PCM, you really should take the heads off to see if you've chipped a piston. you've been knocking since the 3.4 pulley was put on and it might have just taken its toll on the motor.

As for PCMs, i've heard intense i a pretty good choice. i've also read that zzp's tend to blow a lot of people's motors.

    DHP.

Or nothing. Apparently you still haven't read my Safely Modding Thread in my sig or you would have known what PCM's were recommended or not. Dude, all I am saying is take 10 minutes of your time to read it all...it isn't that difficult.

Why would you do that? If you pull the spark plugs and they are damaged then you'll already know if you have a busted piston or not...you don't have to pull the head.

I posted that as the FIRST post in the thread. You would have thought when someone replys to the first post you make on a forum you would read it.

Please do yourself a favor, and do A LOT of research on any given subject before you make a decision. Don't base your decision on one write-up, or one persons' opinion. Look at many different opinions and go with the one that seems the most logical.

Which is the safely modding thread...

most people around here just go for whatever pulley they can fit on there and dont check for knock or if they do, they get it "tuned out" aka pull all timing and run say 12* at WOT.

    Just stupid....

    Please read this.... http://www.grandprixforums.net/f81/s...car-17482.html

Then make a new thread if you have questions. Also it doesn't hurt to use the search to find the answers to the questions that you seek.

ok sry guys reread that modding post and it has all my answers pretty much. ..checked my plugs there not chiped so thank god my pistons are good. any review on that mag snout from pfyc? i no i need new bearings and i want to change the coupler. when i bought the car it came with a 3.4" pully with no mods besides the catback and cai 180* start and msd coils. they stiped the the snout with they took the old one off it looks like cuz i lost the breather nut and trying to put a nother one in and it fell out . i am waiting on my slp heads and problems i should be worried about in the instalation?
