Is there any truth to these modular add-ons claiming they boost horsepower while increasing MPG? Also, what else can I do to boost H.P. and performance without pulling a cam, dropping a supercharge into my stock '05 GT? Thanks.

flow mods might net you some, namely intake and exhaust. And by exhaust I mean from the heads to the catback.... catback is fine.

short ram intake, plog, and a 3'' dowmpipe will most likely improve your mileage by a MPG or two
'04 Chevy Silverado LT 4x4 - intake, headers, full exhaust, zo6 cam, 799 heads, tune, leveled, 33's
'00 Grand Prix GTP DAYTONA 500 - L36 block, S1X, intercooled, GenV, N*, headers, full exhaust, coilovers, 5 speed swap, stage 3+ clutch

all that extra flow ability leading to better mileage will be negated by your right foot.

My Good friend has a gtp and with his TOGs, CAI, 2.5 inch cat back, and hes got a dhp pcm, as well as the overdrive went out in his tranny, if hes reletively nice to it he can get 35-36 mpg
