I don't get to drive my 2001 Grand Prix GTP very often, it mostly sits in the garage and is driven on the weekends. Well the other day I pulled it out and headed into town (it was a cold day) I stopped to get fuel and was smoking a little from under the hood. I popped the hood to take a look and could find a leak. It smells like radiator fluid but I can't find a leak. Has anyone had this problem???? I topped of my radiator fluid (which wasn't really low) the overflow tank was low. Could this be the dreaded intake gasket problem I've been reading about???

Thanks for any input, I love my GTP and want it running perfect again.

more than likely lower intake manifold... look around valve covers and supercharger area and see if its puddling up around injectors or nooks and crannys of supercharger

check the coolant elbow under the supercharger

mine sprang a leak there elbow cost 12$ from the dealer

Hopefully you got the aluminum LIM gaskets. If you got the plastic ones, just don't use Dexcool, as that is whats eating the original gaskets in the first place.
