No the 94's are not the same there hood latch is monuted on the floor.. And the grills are down lower on the 94's then the gen 2's if you can still see the black cable and the latch is trashed this is a temp fix to at least get the hood open. Take the latch out and strip the cable cover off and use a pair of pliers to grab the actual cable and it will let you pull the hood open... Along with 2 vin x 3.4 dohc engines
