    I also had the same problem, check any hoses 4 leaks and if u have high mileage replace the intake manifold gaskets. They tend 2 give away and coolant leaks in2 your motor, common for these cars from what ive read. My temp would go up and down do to this. When i took out the old gaskets they were falling apart.

    it really does sound like air.. bleeder valve open.. open radiator cap.. turn car on.. pour water into radiator.. as soon as u see a solid stream close the bleeder and shut the cap. your temp problem should then be fixed.
