What's up. Just picked up a 2005, with a 3.8. My former cars were Cadillac STS, Lexus LS430 and Audi A6 4.2 so I am used to luxury V8s. Suprisingly the 3.8 V6 has pretty good power! I got the car with 84K miles on it for $5800. It's stealth gray with a few keyed areas. Other than that it's in excellent shape and seems like the deal of the century. I've been roughing in a 1996 grand am for 8 months. Just recently bought a home so I am on a tight budget till I get settled. I love the car so far. Very solid, good size and looks good.

The check engine light popped on, I scanned it and got a P0411 code which seems pretty common for these cars. I plan on cleaning out the Air injection pump but I don't know where it is located. Any help would be appreciated. The search function did not yield anything. Is it some where in the back of the engine?

Plan to keep this car for a long time and drive it to the ground. I love my 3.1 Grand Am which I've owed for 5 yrs. It has 160K miles on it and has been very well behaved. I hope the Grand Grix can be just as reliable !
