this is for anyone else that has had this problem. You won't believe what this turned out to be. After much debate of what to do, (have dealer put on computer and spend $85.00 or take a chance and start replacing things). I was driving down the road, hit a pothole and lost all power. Luckily car restarted and made it home. Did a lot of research of what powers all the items that were lost, decided to replace just the ignition switch and keeping the older lock assembly. Also kept the battery hooked up while replacing the part. It was a bear to get to, especially if you have big hands. Got it back together, turned the switch, and voila!!!Car starts right up and power to everything. Been driving it for four days now and no problems. Hope this helps anyone that has run into this situation and thanks to those that replied to try help out. (I swear this car is possessed)
