Hi all, been lurking around for a while while doing my L67 swap in my 98 Intrigue. In the process of going to a Gen 5 set up on an L36 block. Not a big poster but a big reader!

I'm pretty excited to follow this build. My first 3800 experience was a 98 intrigue, I thought it was hot sh#t cuz I had the good year Nascar tires with the white letters, definitely made it faster

I am currently a 98 GTP motor and a 3.0 pulley. I also have Pacesetter headers back to 3" exhaust, 72mm TB, 1.9 rockers, intercooler, 42lb green tops, 180 stat, Autolite 103's CAI and an Intense PCM. Lowered 1" with ATX 4 way adjustable struts, 12" drilled and slotted rotors front and rear with 245/50/16 BFG G force sport comp 2 tires on stock rims. 12lbs of boost for now..... I am looking for a LIM that has fuel bosses in it for injectors so I can run the L36 heads and keep the motor together since it only has 45000 on it.

Well I finally got around to getting it tuned and dyno'ed. 1st pull we put down 350 horse and 340 torque at the flywheel. Still having issues with the trans and the dreaded p0730 code as I changed the tranny after it blew the converter out. Found gaping the plugs to 45 worked the best, after tuning we got the power curve up 5800. Runs like a scalded dog. I am happy with the numbers it made. Next change is a 100 shot of laughing gas and a NX cam.

Yes and that is the only internal change. I also changed to a 2.8 pulley which gives me 14 psi of boost. After 6 hours of tuning that's all we could get out of her. PCM kept pulling timing and fuel.
pcm only pulls timing if its seeing KR. so your likely running to much timing.
i have pretty much the same mods as you other then the gen 5, l36 bottom end. with a 2.8 , ported heads, 1.95 yt rockers, fsic and meth injection to get me to 18º wot. makes about 12-13 psi.
and you ran it on a engine dyno to get the crank hp numbers?
Yes it was tuned on the dyno so we were able to see live numbers during the process.
