Just buy some engine degreaser from the auto parts store, cover the alternator with a bag, spray the degreaser all over the engine, and spray down with the hose.

Anything else besides the alternator that should be protected? I would think even though the PCM is not going to get direct water it should be covered and the distribution fuse box as well.Originally Posted by SubwayGuy
