    i have 2000 gt, it popped the head gasket omw home, i tore it all down cleaned it flushed it so far put new head gaskets in, torqued them 40, 60, then 80 foot pounds, my lower intake didnt come with the china rails so i red rtv'd them, new water pump and belt, im just about to put new oil and coolant, and i torqued the rockers to 25 pounds everything else i just cranked down until it felt just right and basically i wanna make sure before i fire it i didnt mess up toooo bad btw i put in new head bolts too but for my first v6 head gaskets i feel confident i want a second say from other whove done it, all fel pro gaskets were installed and a airtex water pump

    did you use arp head studs? or new head bolts?

    new head bolts are 42 fp, then 120 degrees then one row gets another 30 degrees.

    uh head bolts not studs, sh** ran decent today though, no funny sounds or heating issues

    What's the difference between the Arp head studs...also would like to know if everything's still good griffin

    Head studs are reusable most head bolts are torque to yield and can only be used once.

    What you said you did seems okay. Drive it for a while, and check your oil to make sure it's not milky.
