New hinges $300, pins $30, yup new pins.

    Lets get down to business.

Lets start off with the pins. 1 package= one door, 2 packages means 2 doors. Notice your part number at the top

Before door. Notice pins aka the only thing that dont look like bolt heads. 2 per hinge/4 per door

Unplug wire harness prior to door removal
    Untitled by smetters20, on Flickr

The plug is inside the body not the door keep pulling it comes out further

    Yay

Kid you not the instructions on how to take it off are on the plug. Squeeze and flip the white lever over and it will come apart

13mm for door bolts, and no I used a air ratchet

Better look at the hinges with door gone

I actually took the ENTIRE hinge off, door first then car. While looking at the hinges I realized there was absolutely NO need for this. 2 bolts right there dead center looking at you are all that need to be removed. I wasnt sure hence why I took it off first. But the 2 bolts can be removed leaving this behind on the body

Hinges off with ^^^ bracket still on body

Pay attention to the spring its under pressure and must be taken out before you can pop the old hinges out. I stuck half of it in a vice, compressed a bit and set the spring aside, pops in easily later with another slight compress.

Now I read somewhere where a guy said oh put a x and punch it through.... ok
    Untitled by smetters20, on Flickr

Dont waste your time with a X. I punched the hell out of it and did nothing. Grind that old rivet thingy gone
    Untitled by smetters20, on Flickr

Wap with a hammer and punch
    Untitled by smetters20, on Flickr

Walla easy as pie, twice per hinge and now your ready for the new pin!

    Old bushing
    Untitled by smetters20, on Flickr

Pop it out, its a one way so look for the flange and flip over and push it out.
    Untitled by smetters20, on Flickr

Pay attention to your bushings they are not a push in anywhere, the bushings must be sandwiched in between the metal plates when installed back together. They simple press in with a tiny help of a mallet. Notice the bushings
    Untitled by smetters20, on Flickr

Lube your bushings, lube your pins
    Untitled by smetters20, on Flickr

Push pins in, install nuts and tighten. The pins are a 1 way, it would be impossible for you to install them in the hole wrong. One side is bigger than the other. Pins may require a love tap to fully seat, they do not just drop in the hole. Proceed to tighten nuts.

Your done. Put the hinge back on the door and alight the bolts back to the factory paint markings.

Dont forget to reattach your wire harness

Closes with 1 finger with the push of the wind. Perfect

Great Write-up! I've been wanting to do this after the semester ends and this will really help. Doesn't look like that hard of a job at all really. Thanks for the info man!

I had mine done at body shop while having door painted. Cost $55.00 plus the kit. Door no longer sags and wind noise is greatly reduced. Should have done 2 years ago and saved some money on door opening mouldings.

I finally got around to doing this and I LOVE that the door has no sag anymore. A word of caution though: the lower pin on my top hinge was VERY difficult to get out. I heated and hammered it for an hour with no luck. Finally took it to my friend at a shop who had to torch it twice and use an air hammer to push out. Aside from that it's an easy and very rewarding job!

Uhhh, you can look at the spring and see if it's broken. IDK how you think we would know if it is...

This is the how to section though, See the sticky that says DO NOT POST QUESTIONS IN THIS SECTION?
