I didn't make this, this is just something I found that someone else made that I thought I should share with everyone else.

After having a leather tan colored interior before my GTP, I vowed never again and only wanted Black or dark Grey.

You know, I did this a few years back - because we had really bad rainstorms and I thought the puddle was a few inches deep and it was a few feet - only way to dry everything out totally was to remove the carpet, and the seats, and the console.... but I've been driving it a couple years now without issue.

I also had to get the water out of the engine (put new plugs and wires on and removed my sopping wet air filter as well.)

You can also use paint thinner on your carpet. DO NOT get it on anything leather or plastic or it will remove color sometimes. But put some paint thinner on a rag, rub the area. If it's bad, pour thinner on the spot and brush it then use a shop vac to suck most of it out. You'll have to air out your car but it works easy and you don't have to worry about soaking your carpet. I'd reapply scotch guard afterwards as well.
