yeah the way i did this worked fine (have bose; no onstar) on a 2000 gtp.. i took a qwik connect from walmart, and put that along with a 2 inch wire on the pink wire into the little (black i think) harness that goes into stock radio (pink wire is bose remote) and added a male connector on there, then put a female end on the blue remote for aftermarket radios and plug them in. Amp turns on when my radio turns on. i put a switch cover in myself, goes into the little cubby on drivers side (far left, closest to door) made out of a mudflap that has three switches (1 for strobes in headlights, 2 for my grill lights and 3 for my sub amp remote.. i used one wire from battery into the cubby and split it and then i dont need to use the radio remote for my subs, just cant leave it on and everything works great
    i knew this guy wasn't b/sing.

Just read the how-to. Little update. the 2008 GP uses the gmos-01 not the gmos-04.

    Little 2010 Update

Maybe a 2008 without the Monsoon but the amp doesn't have line-level inputs on it with a Monsoon system. Therefore, you need to have RCAs to output to the stock amplifier. I personally just soldered some on to the aftermarket harness and plugged it in.

I haven't tried to simply wire it from the aftermarket head-unit's speaker levels, but would presume that would be WAY overpowering to the amp's inputs.
