    Put some crap in there.

    Just a note: I have the DEA solid mounts, the engine mount seems VERY solid yet there still is a cavity beneath the main section of rubber and the bottom metal "cap".

    Its all filled now, going to wait a week or two. Most of these products claim a one week to fully cure.

    I'm sure they dont count on their product being crammed into a 2x3x1" thick block though.

    I forgot to revise this to the fact that I wouldn't use RTV. Some people may be able to get enough in there to make it solid enough but mine depressed.

    This deserves more attention. Cheap/nice little mod. Did this cus the mounts i got from my store by anchor blew out in a month. Cost me 12 bucks each and i used 1 1/2 tubes of 3m window weld from my store. So far much better ride.

    they work great, ill trade ya mine for new hydraulic mounts. lol they do vibrate. and i upped my in gear idle to like 825 or so iirc.

    mostly at idle. you cant see out the side or rear view mirrors lol

    little holes, but big enough to stuff a calking gun tip inside it.

    a air compressor helps to blow out the fluid inside the mount.

    I lied I have another question received my mounts today and went to look at pics on where drill again.
    And noticed none for the trans mount should drill up top by the bolts? On the side or bottom? I just didn't want to drill the wrong spot

    Also I'm glad my engine mount was a solid one lol

    I used this stuff and ran out, don't have anymore, and no one sells it local. should I worry about not filling it to the top? it was coming out the bottom, and wouldn't fill up to the top.

    and for people who use this stuff to, wear gloves, it will make a big mess and won't wash off your hands.

    I think and "poly" sealant would work fine... Locktite has some

    my my thought was always whether to fill all at once, or do it in stages, so to allow the sealant to set, then add another layer, until filled. That would make it nice and solid for sure.

    this 3M stuff set's up reasonably fast, I had some push out all the holes in the bottom half of the mount, I just couldn't get any to push out the top holes that I drilled. the cure time is advertised as 24 hours, I'll probably let it set up for a week and then install. I will check around for some loctite poly sealant, I'm sure the local parts store will have something like that, I'm just going to put a good coating on the outside and in the middle between the two studs on top and call it good. hopefully the extra vibration doesn't jar any of my wife's teeth fillings out.

    thats what i used loctight polyurethane caulking. let it set up for a few days, its rock hard and still very solid. it does add some vibrations in gear at idle.

    that hot water tip would have been useful knowledge yesterday, probably would not have made such a mess if it had come out of the tube easier.

    Does anyone happen to have the picture associated with this step :

    "You also need to fill the bottom of the mount. This can be done by taping or plugging the hole shown in the picture and filling it up (from the middle) untill you seem in coming out of the other holes (on the sides) like this:"

    I have a new "solid" mount I'll drill and check and if I need ti fill it I'd like to know more about what I need to do and make sure I get it right.
