Funny you post this... I just talked to blue the other day about the idea of doing something like this and he said it would have NO benefits. He said all it would do is RUIN your MPG's

    its used for TCS.

When it engages it tries to pull boost because it also randomly cuts fuel and spark.

So lots of air, not much fuel, tcs, boom.

I've never run one. Trac off permanently.

Won't affect fuel economy in the slightest.

Forcing the valve shut all the time would affect fuel economy though.

Top swaps don't run it. I don't run one. I also have a hpt so it was easier to just delete the code "turbo wasgste solenoid" Much better.

Plus you see how 1/4 times are longer than 10sec? Well look at your boost timer....Might want to disable the timer too so the PCM doesnt interfere and cut boost. When I checked a tune recently it was set for 10 seconds
Best bet it to just disable the solenoid and leave one vacuum line on the bbv

You would simply remove the solenoid, chuck it, and the lines on it.

The BBV actuator would now have the bottom nipple open to atmosphere and the FPR line i believe would now need to end at the FPR instead of continuing to the BBV solenoid.

Again, traction control will be inoperable without this device functioning properly.

Yea traction control never works anyway because the wheel bearing lines always snap LOL. I did the method ZZP showed and mine definitely moved a good distance and it feels like my boost kicks in a lot fast when i stomp it than it did before. Drop in fuel economy is equal to when you drop thermostat temperatures.
