    im sure if you were to flip open the butterfly and rub your finger on the back side of it, and look past it, it will be dirty. surprisingly dirty.

    Considering now It's only a clamp between me and another peek, I will take a look, but I'm sure I did that too. Lol, but between the beers and the cone install I honestly can't remember. I'll take a pic... .

    I'll be doing my LIM in a week or so, so if it is gunked I will have a 2nd opportunity then to clean it.

    mine was nice and clean on the outside too, flip it open, spray some carb cleaner in there. remove the maf if its in the tb, never spray anything on a maf but maf cleaner. ( or you'll kill the maf) then get your old tooth brush and scrub around, it will come out black as night.

    i respectfully disagree with the maf cleaner. i have used electrical contact cleaner multiple times for the MAF. no big deal though.

    electrical contact cleaner is NOT carb and choke cleaner. better to be safe than sorry, a new maf aint cheep. thats why they sell maf cleaner.
