ya idont know how long it was off, but today my engine just shut off, so i try and turn it on again and it hisses at me lol
then i waited a lil and started it and limped home

well I noticed mine was off after driving it like that for a good half hour. Nothing happened to mine. Hopefully nobody does this and that happens to them! Sorry guys!!

i actually went under my hood today after driving to check my oil, and the tube that goes to the air filter was so hot.. Do you think the pvc pipe would melt?

One question if you slap a cone on the tb where do you put the IAT sensor? because thats what i wanna do

what kind of paint did you use to paint the pvc pipe?

drill a hole and seal it in the pipe, or get creative, as long as the sensor is vertical in the pipe and it getting airflow is should operate properly

Use High temp heat.. I used engine enamel.

if you use engine enamel on anything in the engine bay you wont have to worry about heat, thats what i used as well

technically you dont even need to do this. it will read the temperature no matter where it is. i just zip tied mine close to the cone and left it.

i preferred to use a piece of metal wire so its re-usable. saves time in looking for a zip tie.

i made this today with my 2000 pontiac and wow does it make a difference.. i hear my supercharger more than i ever thought i would. And i still get the same gas mileage :)
