i would guess you could probably pop an additional hole in the tank and run additional hoses and tap into the factory wiring harness

I am not sure I need the racetronix fuel pump, Rock auto shows a PERFORMANCE ELECTRIC Part # P988K, or what else would you recommend? I am not sure I need to replace, I have 2000 gtp w 170k and a couple issues lately. My son started driving and being used to our newer Venza he didn't realize that he had to keep the key turned until the car started so when he let off with no start we could not get it to start. After trouble shooting I figured out the fuel pump wasn't running, so I banged on the fuel tank and it started up. ALso getting the check engine light with P0171 code for too lean mixture bank 1. I repalce MAF sensor with in last 10k. And will get new vac lines. but am not sure if the fuel pump could also be causing this.

I also found a SAPEP240P20 fuel pump on ebay.

Take a look at or call TREPerformance.com for a pump. I've run both their stock replacements and performance pumps. No issues to date. I heard of one person with a W that had a bad pump, but many that never had an issue.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    Bump.

Is it possible for the original poster to update the pictures? All I get is broken IMG links on my screen.

I am going to be installing a Aeromotive pump soon, and would like a little refresher course.

Right you are, I didn't even notice who the thread creator was till you said something. Ya...I was around for that, glad he didn't take me for a ride like he did others.

Maybe I will do my own write up...dive in blind and see what I get. I did a Walbro pump install like 10-11 years ago. Racetronix pumps from PRJ are the only true plug and play pump on the market I have seen. I trust Aeromotive pumps more...so went that route.
