Hey all,

I work for Hyperco, and have for many years. I personally am looking for a totally different kit then what is out there. I have converted my Bilstein HD's to coilovers on the rear, and am getting ready to start the front, however, I know it would be nice to have a high quality lowering kit that is more suited to what I would call a track day kit. This meaning a stiff rate that does not really lower too much. We have been having a discussion on another thread, and it looks like there is going to be enough interest to move forward. I already have 1 person on board to send me a Vogtland kit, and another possible to send me a DNA kit to evaluate the spring rates, and how much they lower, etc. I am going to cycle test the kits, dyno the springs, and give them a thorough evaluation as well. If all goes well, I personally will be looking into doing a group buy type deal, with the price maybe being around $200 a kit. It may be less or slightly more, depending on what the springs would cost me. I am not looking to make a bunch of money on this deal, just make a kit that we can truly be happy with, and that will last the life of the cars, while giving us the balance we are looking for in our cars. If you are interested in loaning me a fron and a rear spring from a kit for a few days, I can get all the data, and send them back to you. We have been making OE style lowering kits for many of the high end manufacturers for many years, so I am confident that we can get together a kit that you guys will truly enjoy. If you have any questions, please let me know. This is a project that I am taking on myself, and am probably going to donate a couple of Saturdays to test the springs, etc, not necessarily a company project. Let me know what you guys think. It will probably take at least 25 kits being firmly sold to do a group buy and keep the prices down, just let me know.
