Traded a guy a motorcylce for this 95 gp gtp.scince i bought it ive had trans rebuilt,timing belt replaced, p/s pump and serp belt.recently it started blowing the dash fuse for the instrument cluster.When this happens the doors unlock and all the gauges cease to work.while the fuse is blown it acts as if its not getting the right amount of power to ANYTHING i.e.wipers, turnsignals, windows ect. and when you come to a stop and try to take off again its sluggish as if its starting in second?not sure if any of these things would have to do with it but who knows. I've already done some things to try and figure this out.i unhooked the windshield display,mabey a short i thought,nope still does it,took instrument cluster completley out and checked the back print board for burns..nothing. no burn markes on any of the plug i can see.I have a hunch im going to have to replace the instrument cluster but mabey there some stupid little things these things do that some genius knows and can save me 100$.one more bit of info,it vaires on how long a fuse lasts,sometimes a day but most of the time it blows as soon as the car starts moving?it wont blow it just siting there at idle.Any help would be greatly aprricated.
