So I just got done installing my 6000K HID bulbs in my fog lights. Well, so far its blown two 10 amp fuses. Do I need to place a 20 amp fuse in there are simply give another fuse a try. Why is it blowing fuses?

You really do not want to "up" the fuse level. Are you running the aftermarket wiring kit for the HIDs? They have their own relays and built in fusebreaker. You might have something not completely wired correctly to be blowing the fuses. Are you blowing the fuse in the fuse in the box in the engine bay's fuse box or are you blowing the fuse in the glove box?
And most importanly, how did you hook them up???
Well they are the standard HID kits with the wiring and ballasts that hook up like a normal low beam kit. It kept blowing the 10 amp fuse in the engine bay fuse box (only when I turned on the fogs for the first time). I replaced the 10 amp fuse with a 15 amp fuse and I have not experience the problem ever since. Should I go back to a 10 amp and see how it goes or with the 15 amp fuse be safe to stay with?
Hummmm I am not a huge expert on the electrical overload that it may cause, but only going up 5amps, I dont see it being problem, but I would occassionally check the fog lights and the fuse to make sure things are melting underneath. But it sounds like the setup for the HIDs is not liking the setup with fog lights. Are your foglights stock or aftermarket?
I have stock fog lights. Every time I'm done driving I always check the fog light capsules because I fear the HID's melting the capsules, so far they are not. I'll keep an eye on the wiring as well. So far nothing has gone a rye.
So you are running your fog HIDs off the stock wiring? That could be your problem right there. I would seriously look into an aftermarket wiring harness and bypass the stock wiring except for splicing the wiring to the stock line to turn and off your lights. I bet that is where most of your problems are coming from.
Are you also running HID headlights on the stock wiring?
No, they both come with aftermarket wiring and ballasts. I haven't had the problem since I placed the 15 amp fuse in. Maybe my problem is solved? Hmm.
If this is a standard Wbodystore kit, then yes stay with the 15amp fuse. I kept on blowing the 10amps, and I even blew a 15amp one on a very cold night. So I upped mine to 20amp. I have never had a problem since.
I did however have a bad ballast this past month, and I replaced it with an ebay ballast... everything is still running strong!
Oh man don't get me going on the WBody HID kits! They are totally mmmmm @$)(U!#()*YU)*(U!@)(!!#@_)(*$)Y*(U!()_+(*$ if that doesnt describe my displeasure with them........I dont know what does![]()
I too got my second kit from Fleabay and I have loved them since the moment they were installed! I would caution against going up to many fuse levels. Cause if there is a problem, having such a large fuse could lead to an overload/fire in the line. The fuse is meant to blow for a reasonIf your 15amp is holding up fine, stay there, if it does blow again? I would take a really closer look at your wiring setting again before upping it to a 20amp fuse.
I was warned against upping my fuses a long time ago by an electric automotive tech guy who fixed an issue in my old GT. His words basically echoed what I said above about over doing the fuse size.
