    the trim at the bottom of the window outside of the car, for the front loosen or remove the side view mirror, then open the door and inside the handle side you pull the cap off the trim, then take the screw out. pull back a bit, then lift it up and pull it the rest of the way off.

    if you have back doors the cap is on the hinge side irrc one screw same deal pull back, lift it off.

    I also have bottom window trim that is dull and faded. I have tried everything to restore the trim, but nothing has worked. Has anyone ever painted these trim pieces?
