It is also possible (especially since you have water in the rear footwell too) that the butyl rubber sealant which holds the plastic weather liner to a metal door shell has shrunken over time or been improperly reinstalled. This can result in water coming over the sill trim from underneath the door trim panels and is easy to spot, and to fix with the door panel off. Theres a water flow path inside the door and the liner seal is important because the window trim does not stop water from flowing through the door. Check drain holes at bottom of door shells as well, and clear if clogged. I can tell everyone is getting rain like we have lately or worse. Lotsa water leaks!
All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.

I think this one of my issues because i have water on the drivers floor under the mat, carpet is wet all the way up to the point underneath the speaker in the door.

I did have water on the passenger side, on top of the mat. Put the water deflector under the cowl and passenger side has been dry!
