How do these cars sound if you just replace the resonator with a straight piece of pipe and leave the stock mufflers in place? (No cat FWIW)
I've been kinda wanting to make mine a touch louder, but don't want obnoxiously loud/drone.

Is there an inlet/outlet with the thrush? It looks a little different, the perforated insert, on one side. Nothing on the box says if it matters which way I weld it in.
This is how my car was when I bought it, but with a cat..... it was a little loud, but more than tolerable. When decelerating, the lack of resonator caused "popping"; cool at first, but annoying after 5 minutes.
I now have Borla mufflers, Walker cat and resonator; idle is deep and rumbly, but still a little loud on long hill climbs. I'm just getting to old for loud exhaust. LOL
Usually when you remove the resonator, you will have drone hence why it's placed right between the driver and passenger to keep the cabin quiet
