if you have a pressure gauge pop it in the filter housing. even a tester gauge works for this.

I was actually thinking of buying a oil gauge. But I have no room left on my pod. 2 aeros 1 wideband
I'll have to look up how to install one and try it out

These are a lot like old school sbc, I did one or two LT1's back when I was in high school and they always had a little wiggle until the lifters were primed. Hydraulic roller system needs fluid to absorb some slack. Solid roller would be fun, measure them in perfectly.

    thanks!!

test gauge is easy, its at the parts store for free rental it screws right into the oil pressure sensor hole in the filter housing.

id have a spare battery hooked up to a running car then another set of cables to jump the starter from the battery. your gonna be there for a while. more power the better.

Well using the pushrod tool one more time I can't seem to find a happy medium to solve this "valve lash" issue I may or may not have. I'm hoping once the lifters are pumped up this won't be an issue
