1997 GTP, manual temp. controls. The problem is that 99% of the time when I have the a/c on, it blows out the defroster vents along with the dash and floor vents. It will also fog up the windshield on the outside after a few minutes of being on max, which is annoying, but I can still see out of the windshield. I have been looking at a lot of threads for vacuum line diagrams and have learned that a line comes off the top of the supercharger, runs along the firewall then goes down below battery tray, around the front of the car and plugs into that "vacuum ball" behind the driver's side fog light.
My thing is this...I do have a hard plastic vacuum hose coming off the s/c, but it "dead-ends" near the fuse relay center and is plugged off with a screw in the end of the line, it doesn't go all the way to the ball. After looking around and working backwards from the ball, I've traced the line to a T next to the windshield washer fluid bottle. The line from the ball ends there and one end of the T with the hard line going to a big wire harness under the fuse relay center (I'm assuming THAT goes to the inside of the car, to that round vacuum diaphragm under the dash...?) and the other end of the T goes to a larger diameter (more flexible rubber) hose that connects to the top of the washer motor itself. This does NOT seem correct!
Pics will come in my next post as I can insert them into the quick reply box, but not here in the main box...ah, well...lol.
