you got it right now. you just need a real vac line on the one line.

Okay, got everything figured out now. That top nipple doesn't do anything on my car. I turned it on and sprayed the fluid and nothing came out of that top nipple so I'll just leave that alone. WHY that fat hose was hooked up to the hard vacuum lines AND to that nipple is beyond me! Someone who owned the car before me has obviously done a lot of "jimmy rigging" to it. Thank you VERY much for your help, Scotty!!!!!! I'll be on my way to the parts store today to get the hose and T's and then hopefully I can have air coming out of the vents I want it to be coming out of...lol.

that hole maybe just a vent to let air in the tank as it pumps it out. or it may vapor lock the tank and not pump.

NP. the parts store will let you take a few short pieces of line to the car to see what will fit best for ya. so ask then for some test lines.

Woohooo! I, miss Nancy, have air/heat that blows stronger now and WHERE I want it to blow!! LOL I know this because when I put it on max there was dust, dirt, leaves and such that blew in my face that never did before! LOL With that small T and the new rubber lines it makes it look sooo much more neat! You've made me a happy woman! **Bows** lol But seriously, I DO appreciate all of your help. I was hoping that you would've chimed in on my other thread about the turn signal lever wire cause I know you've dealt with them before, but that's okay. My next thing is to get the cruise working, hasn't worked since I bought the car and if it's anything like how the previous owner Jimmy-rigged these vacuum lines, it ought to be a fun project! I did replace the multifunction lever myself, hoping that maybe that would cure it, but alas, it didn't. I bought a used cruise control module off fleabay and am going to start taking the old one off and putting the new one on and hopefully it'll work again. If not, it's back to the forum...again. I've already done a lot of research on it and checked the fuses, etc. and basically it boils down to being the module. But time will tell......

And yea, I had the guy come out to the car to make 100% damn sure the lines and fittings were going to work well together. It's an hour round trip up to Jackson (MI) so I'm only making ONE trip...lol

THANK YOU AGAIN!!! And best of luck and well wishes to your mother.

had no idea you were female lol koodos to you.

dust in the face, you know those vent have not blown air in a long time...

i missed your other thread i guess lol

if changing the multi function switch didn't fix it it could be the bulb socket has broken inside. but i missed the thread and dont know the details on that one.

the cruise control, make sure both third brake light bulbs are working. if one of those are not working the cruise wont work. if one or both are out, you get to them via the trunk.

and make sure the cable is hooked on the throttle body where the gas pedal linkage is hooked up, they go side by side on the bracket.

poor frigging mom goes for her gallbladder to be removed some time over night or in the morning, they dont know when yet. poor woman cant catch a break. if all goes well she checks out the hospital monday and off to a rehab to get that new hip moving.

Not many females on here! and thank you!

Yes, all the lights are working, even the 3rd brake lights, both bulbs. Headlights, tail lights, fog lights, parking lights, reverse lights, even the little side marker lights...lol. You get the idea.....Fuse is good inside the car and I've been reading that there may be a relay under the hood for the cruise? Any idea if that's true and if so, what might it be labeled as? Just got the new-to-me cruise control module today, but the one that is presently on the car now is hooked up to the TB, right next to the throttle cable. It moves like I assume it should.

Wow, your Mom is surely going thru the ringer! I wish her well and a speedy recovery, although I bet it'll be a long process of healing.

Since I have questions about this used module, should I make another thread about the cruise issue, or just keep going on with this thread?

Our posts must've come through at the same time...lol. Start a new thread or just keep on this one?

Every once in a while I see a female in here, but not too often. Pink nails? Ewww, not for me. Too much of a tomboy for that! An old tomboy at that.

She takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'...lol Good for her!

Okay, fair enough. I've been doing a LOT of reading about it and know what to check and whatnot, but have some questions about the yellow ribbon looking thing coming out of the used module, so I'll get my pics around and start a new thread. Thanks again!

Will have to do it tomorrow as it's too dark and rainy outside to take pics of module on car.
