Again i am a complete dummy about stuff liek this but on my 2003 GP GT...are their sensors that go off when it is time to change a bearing??Reason i ask is cause on my grand am Gt it had. And i am noticing when i am turning left i feel a vibration, and only left. My girlfriend and i feel it under our feet(the vibration) but once i straighten it up,it goes away.Could this be the bearing and if so which side?? thank you for any help

There are no bearings on our cars that have a sensor to tell you if they go bad with maybe the exception of a wheel hub. And half the time it's not even the actual bearing. Anyway with that the abs/traction lights will stay on.

It's really going to be hard to tell what is wrong enless someone actually looks at it.

I'm sure there will be several that chime in on this thread naming about 10 different things that could be wrong but chances are you'll just have to jack it up and climb on under there to check things out.

It sounds like the hub bearing is going out. In severe cases when it gets bad enough to damage the sensor (which is what happened in the grand am's) then it will set a code.

Just try taking the left wheel and rotor off to see if it has shavings coming out of it, or if it feels loose. When you spin it, it shouldn't grind or growl.

    Yup^^ X2

With what you are describing, it could be a wheel hub assembly. Like TDC said it is difficult to tell for sure without actually looking at it. However, they are a very common part that goes bad when they get some miles on them.

on my car i get like a rubbing/vibration when i turn right. its nuthing crazy but it has to do with either my new swawy bar or strut bearings.
