Thread: Inline Fuel Pump

Has anyone ever ran a performance inline pump? Such as a Bosch 040 044 or Deatschwerks 350iL?

Wondering if that might be a better solution than a new in tank pump, just leaving the stock venturi/non venturi whatever it is to feed the powerful inline pump to feed a large injector E85 setup. Or if you'll just suck the stock pump dry. Any ideas?

Gotcha. Was just curious to do something different haha. Still need to figure out what pump is going to work in my camaro.. Not sure if its more similar to a v8 camaro or more similar to other 3800 cars..

I'm sure no higher than 500whp on corn in the next few years. Just a plain ol walbro 255 should easily go in the 3800 camaro canister you think?

I'm sure there are.. but from what I've seen or looked up no one can really say for sure if wbody/other 3800 stuff is drop in or the v8 stuff is drop in.. lol

I know the v6/v8 pumps and canisters are different, partially because the ls1 is a returnless style and the 3800 is return.

Use the v8 assembly the simply make a return in the tank.
Then use whatever pump u want . -8 line split into -6 at the rails and a -6 return should be just fine

... My car is already plumbed for a return style fuel setup... I'm thinking an upgraded GTP pump is going to go in the canister. AEM 340 LPH or something.
