the piggest pita is feeding through the column lead wire down to the connector panel
new ones usually have a retainer but a ziptie, (not tight, lightly snug) through the donut hole will keep it from turning while you have it mostly in place on the colum shaft while feeding the wire through that tiny ass path with yer pecker.
just kiddin yer peckers no where near long enough to feed it 3" much less a foot...so ya better cut the old harness off the clockspring and use it as the snake to pull it down.
lol youll have no problem, if i recal the biggest annoyance is the multifunction switch and that damn lego block electrical connector for the column "module"
