Hi. I have an 00' Grand Prix GTP with a CAI, 3" dp w/cat & ubend delete, MBRP resonator and im getting colder plugs soon. I'm thinking of ordering a ZZP 1.0 PCM and I see a lot of options when it comes to gear conversion, fuel injectors and different types of cams. Which options should I select for the best results? Thanks in advance

why colder plugs? you have no mods yet. nothing you listed counts really.

zzp caned tunes are not the best deal either. get a in car tune tune.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

Okay. Still learning about all of this! Scotty, I hear a lot of people having different opinions about the ZZP PCM. Some say it's the best mod they ever got (that's the majority I hear from) and then I hear that it's a pile of junk. I honestly don't know ANYONE that could do an in-car tune, so I looked at getting the PCM as the best option for me. Why do you say it's not the best deal?

It's not good cause as soon as you start modding more you have to get a reflash

What mods would you recommend best? I don't think I mentioned I'm gonna install a 3.5 pulley and a 180* tstat. I read somewhere that you need a tuned PCM when you drop the pulley size or else you'll have KR. Am I right?

You need a PLOG with your current mods to be able to reach a 3.6 maybe. Headers would maybe get you to a 3.5 every car is different. So get something to scan for knock. Like the torque pro app which is like 20 bucks. Or get an aeroforce. Or a scan gauge.

I was looking into getting something to scan for KR, but I don't know which brand would be best. I was thinking a scan gauge. Any recommendations?

I wouldn’t get a ZZP PCM. If I were you I would get a pcm from Overkill Motorsports. Awesome product!

Yep a lot of guys use it. It's just not as fast as an aeroforce but it still data logs and scans for kr you can delete engine codes with it too

Quick update, I ordered a PLOG and a tuned PCM from 3800 Performance along with autolite 104s. I found the Torque App that Ace was talking about and I'm going to get it. Looks absolutely fantastic. I went to Amazon to get an OBD2 blue tooth adaptor, but didn't know which one would work best. Any recommendations? Thanks
