the later aftermarket dampers/tensioners that are a solid drab grey without molding swirls tend to be more durable than the swirl dampers that chip apart along the striations...
always run a new set oem/cloyes gears and chain
a new chain on worn powdered metal gears has too much slack
broke an oem chain with 105's on a VS...wasnt pretty
double roller properly machined is bestest
