    Hey

So after doing some light maintenance yesterday i was putting my engine cover back on and when i went to put the oil filler cap back on, a small pebble about 1-2mm fell into the engine. I looked around for it and could not find it and than i got called to work so i had to drive it. I was thinking of pulling the valve cover to look for it but i am not sure if it would even be near where it fell now. Should i worry about this or will the filter just grab it?

it will sit below the fill hole forever.

ive pulled apart tons of motors and found bits of grass/grit n **** bellow the fill hole.

its probably sitting right next to the head bolt hex or near a spring

    I wouldn't worry, like James..

It's amazing what you find inside an engine.

    Great

I feel a lot better lol, I have been reading about similar circumstance on other forums and people are saying they need to do a complete tear down to find it. So its just going to lodge somewhere and sit? or will it come out next time i change the oil, it was pretty small,

its not like it went in the TB. then you would be tearing it down.

even if it went down the oil drain holes from the head to the oil pan it would just lay there in the pan.
